Freedom To Vote: John R. Lewis Act

We engaged in a number of projects to support the passage of the Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act.

Some of the ways we supported the passage of this Act:

  • • Outreach & education to over 1,000 community leaders in WV about the bill.

  • • Recruited over 50 WV small businesses to sign a petition in support.

  • • Phone banking resulting in over 700 constituents calls to Manchin’s office.

  • • Organized over 120 of Sinema’s major donors to urge Sinema to modify the filibuster in order to pass the bill.
